ULEZ is the new "Ultra Low Emissions Zone" that starts in London on Monday, 8th April 2019. All "non compliant" vehicles, including most scooters manufactured before 2007 and those not Euro 3 compliant will have to pay £12.50 per day (every day, 24/7) to enter the current London congestion charge zone. 

This will affect many thousands of regular scooter riders, and the area affected will expand to the area inside the whole of the North and South Circular Roads from Autumn 2021.
