This vintage Vespa retains many of it's original details including the dealer's badge: Harry & Frank Hebden of Burnley, along with it's square Douglas horn-cast badge and running-in sticker.
Although in parts in need of restoration, this classic scooter has a lovely patina and still has many usable and salvageable parts. Included in the sale are two seat frames both of which have their rare Douglas badges and aluminium trim that can be used again.
The frame does require some welding and the scooter will need to be striped and inspected before using.
The scooter is a non-runner and is sold as seen but the engine does turn over and a second engine is included for parts, that might be usable again to restore the engine.
The original logbook along with period MOT certificates and operators manual are also included giving an insight to the history 1960s scootering.
As a historic vehicle this scooter qualifies for free road tax and is both London ULEZ and Congestion Charge exempt.
