Vespa 100 Sport model was specially built for the USA market, hence the indictors and regulated USA specifications details all over .

When Piaggio did not sell all these machines produced they, sent then to the UK market which was the only other country that used MPH speedos.

Reason for the poor sales in the USA was due to the newer more popular faster and larger PX Vespa model that was out selling the older dated models like the 100 sport.

This scooter is all original in it's paintwork and it's specifications , namely the indicators , unique switches with the engine RUN ON/OFF switch , neutral dash light indicator, Primavera headlight and 12v battery lighting system , it was quite a lot of modern tech for a classic 1965 designed scooter.

The scooter starts and runs but would benefit from a mechical overhaul as stated in our level 1 option as it's been laid up unused for many years and require a motor over haul and all new cables and tyres to be a daily user.
