Vespa VBB Retro-Special was a unique custom built scooter we offered our customers 20-30 years ago.

Early 1960's standard Vespa's had 8" wheels and 6v electrics  and were not so fast or reliable.

Our solution at the time was to install a modern PX engine with 12v electrics , faster with improved reliability.

The front wheel was converted to 10"  using a specially engineered fork stem to match the new rear 10" px wheel.

This is one of our early Retro-Specials from 2004 , still in a great condition and all in good working order.

It has been a while since it's earlier restoration so level 1 offered here would be an advisable engine overhaul .
