Vespa SS180 was the Piaggio's answer to the rival Lambretta TV 175 that came out in 1963 .

The Super Sport was to be the last piston ported Vespa and the most powerful in terms of torque .

Lambretta soon followed with the TV 200 just get ahead of Piaggio regardless of the reliability issues it had , the SS was a solid reliable motor and no longer reliant on the battery ignition system that the GS 's had preoblems with.

This SS is fully restored ( not by ourselves ) it starts and runs but please note we sell "as is" or offer our engine rebuilds as peace of mind if you so wish .

Paintwork is in excellent order and overall a clean presentable top notch Vespa classic, ccertainly a very sort after model .
