Vespa Pedalo was a specially made moped version of a Vespa due to the addition of pedals .

During the 1970's in France a 14 year old could ride a 50cc moped with pedals so Piaggio accommodated accordingly with this 50n adding pedals.

Modifications included a narrowed floor and stand to accomadate the pedals which where connected to a free wheel cog attached to the rear hub .

The rest of the scooter was just like a normal 50n model even with a  standard kickstart.

This particular scooter was restored a few years ago, it starts and runs but has been unused for many years as part of a collection being only on display.

Certainly it would benefit from one of our level 1 mechaical restorations were we would rebuild the engine with new viton seals and freshen it up for the road again

Or it could be part of a enthusiasts collection of rare Vespa's.
