The scooter has undergone the same full restoration process as our petrol restorations be it with a 3kw electric hub motor and 64v 18650 Samsung lithium-ion battery, delivering quick, agile twist and go acceleration and a range of 30-35 miles.
During the restoration process we swap out the old petrol engine, electrics and cabling, and install our kit as a direct replacement. There is no cutting or welding done and the process is fully reversible.
There are 2 battery options available.
64v 28 ah 1800w battery with a 30-35 mile range.
Fits all machines and was primarily made to fit the under seat compartments where the petrol tank would have been.
72v 31.5 ah 2270w battery with a 35-40 mile range.
Fits all large-frame models and gives an overall higher top speed.
Lambretta Li models, 1, 2, 3 and GP models can carry three batteries, either 64v or 72v giving a range of up to 105/120 miles.
In order to change to a second battery, an additional switch needs to be fitted. The switch operates via the old fuel tap lever, enabling you to switch from battery 1 over to battery 2, just like the reserve used to work. Although both batteries are connected the motor only uses one battery at a time. Both batteries can also be charged whilst onboard should you wish not to remove them.
We recommend carrying two batteries and a charger, insuring you are always covered.
